Cyprus's European Digital Innovation Hub offers SMEs free digital-maturity assessments, test-before-invest labs, AI-integration strategy, even AI-agent pilots, co-funded by the EU.
EU AI-Factory compute
AI startups and SMEs can apply for free EuroHPC compute; entry-level access is typically granted within two working days. Cyprus joined the network through Pharos-CY in June 2026.
RIF PRE-SEED - for early startups
Up to EUR 119,999 for early-stage Cyprus startups building toward international markets: prototype, market research, consulting. Current call closes 11 September 2026.

The Digital Upgrade of Enterprises scheme has repeatedly covered 50% of SME digital projects (websites, e-shops, software, AI and cloud tools) up to EUR 50,000. Its calls open in short, first-come-first-served windows and exhaust quickly. Being ready before the window opens is the whole game.
RIF Innovation Vouchers have covered 85% of a EUR 10,000 innovation-services invoice for productive SMEs, in recurring rounds.

120% R&D deduction
Qualifying R&D spend earns an extra 20% tax deduction, extended through 2030. Work contracted to an agency like ours may qualify, provided your business keeps ownership of the resulting IP. Confirm with your tax advisor.
IP Box - ~3% on software profits
Profits from qualifying IP, including copyrighted software, can be taxed at an effective rate of about 3%, and software an unrelated agency builds for you still counts toward qualification.
